Helle knives are designed to meet the stresses and strains of outdoor use. Good workmanship and uncompromising product quality are the key words to the high reputation of our knives. It is a point of honour among our craftsmen that every Helle knife is a synonym for quality. We require up to half an hour to make one single knife  we want to make sure that our customers demands for quality and appearance will be satisfied. To achieve this aim, each knife goes through up to 45 different manual operations. Finally, each knife is thoroughly examined, and only those knives that meet our stringent quality controls, will pass through our inspection process.




Uncompromising steel quality

The differences between a Helle knife and other knives are many. The biggest difference lies in our triple laminated stainless steel blade. The core is made of high alloy steel which gives it a lasting, razor-sharp edge. It is protected by two layers of tough stainless steel(18/8). These layers protect the blade against breakage and corrosion, while the high carbon core provides a superb cutting edge. This triple laminated stainless steel is unique to our knife blades. The steel we use is more expensive than in most other knife brands, but that is all a part of Helles philosophy of never compromising on quality.
